Football is officially back & the bears aquire WR Roy Williams & RB Marion Barber

Well football season is upon us & the free agent frenzy has already begun. Chad Occhocinco & Albert Haynesworth both signed with the New England Patriots. While superstar shutdown cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha signed a 5 year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles making there defense a force to be reckon with in the upcoming season not to mention they alrady have the explosive Michael Vick on the offensive side of the football. But i"m going to be honest with ya"ll. I'm a Chicago Bears fan so the biggest moves to me were the acquisitions of former pro bowl wide reciever Roy Williams & top notch running back Marion Barber. People say Williams is a jerk but a the same time people say he's a nice guy. i've heard radio interviews with Roy & overall he does seem like a real nice guy. So what, he trash talks a bit. Most football players do. The point is the guy can make some spectacular catches. Besides he's better than  any reciever the bears currently have. Devin Hester?? A wide reciever?? C'mon man this guy is a KICK RETURNERRR!! And the greatest to ever do it! He is NOT a wide receiver. The oly other reciver that is almost as good as Williams is pro bowler Johnny Knox. J Knox is definently faster, probaby one of the fastest in the NFL, but Roy has size and has the ability to jump high and make one handed catches. Now, about Marion Barber. I love the move. This is a guy that has been a top 10 RB for the past few years! He has size, strength & speed to bulldoze over defenses. The question still remains though.....what about Matt Forte? From what I hear he is still going to be on the team which I'm very happy about since he has also been a top tier RB for at least 2 years. Not only can he run but he is also one of the best receving RB's in the game. Alot of his yards come from through the air. So he is still explosive out there. It will be very interesting to see how these moves pan out. Also reports say the bears are looking into signing star cornerback & Chicago native Kelvin Hayden to the team. Kelvin Hayden. Remember him bears fans? He scored the pick 6 in superbowl 41 that sealed the deal? Well guess what? We might have him on our team! He's definently a dangerous shutdown corner. He has to be one of the most underated. THE GUY IS ALWAYS A THREAT TO TAKE YOUR COOKIESSSS!! So hopefully that deal works out. Happy football season everyone!
